Once we select a color scheme for this first room, we often choose shades of the same hue for adjacent rooms and the furnishings within them. Using this method will give your home interest and depth with a common theme throughout. With multi-floor homes, we can easily create a different mood in the upstairs versus downstairs, rooted in the colors we choose.
